Search engine optimization is a specific way to direct more traffic to your webpage using search engines. Search engine optimization is also known as SEO and is used extensively in search engine marketing. The theory behind this is that if your page has a higher ranking or is listed in the top 10 of the results pages then you will experience and increase in internet traffic.
