Removing the gold from the ground is just the first step in gold extraction. The mining companies put the precious metal though complex processes in order to isolate the valuable parts. After the gold rocks are extracted from the ground, they are put in big machines called crushers. The rocks are transformed into material of road gravel consistency and is further put in a rotating drum until it becomes a fine slurry or a powder.
