Every individual has reasons why he or she develops anxiety. Sometimes the culprit is traced to a physical anomaly such as a vitamin deficiency. In order to function properly, the human body needs thirteen different vitamins, of which B12 is one. The body requires these in order to facilitate chemical reactions that perform many services such as protecting the body from infection, healing, cell interaction, toxin removal and more. The body is unable to manufacture vitamins so people must consume vitamins through food or supplements. B12 deficiency anxiety can develop from low levels of the vitamin or the inability to absorb it.
